Peace is enough for me

newclearvision.com

It does not matter where you are right now in your life, Peace is all you want. May you have a lot of stuff or have nothing at all, that is where you are going have to put yourself into, to move along. It is something that we can get even without having to lose our earthly existence first. Whether we are living or dead it's what we are wishing for, for ourselves and others. It is free for all, through the power of our choice.

It is very hard to achieve it because in order to have a sincere and deep Peace we should have to learn how to let go or at the very least minimize and silent if possible our ego down. Ego is what we all have come to believe that is very essential in life but in fact it is the one that takes out life in us. For me it is the opposite of Peace. It generates hate from our need of being always right, our superiority. We think that it is the real and the only way to gain respect.

The moment we feel threaten in the presence of ego, immediately we are going to be overly protective and we send back threats in return. The loudest chant of Ego which is: "survival of the fittest", "dog eat dog", "you can't beat me, I'll  beat you up" mentality. Imagine doing this all your life in everything that you do and in anywhere you go 24/7. Instead of cooperating in making the world a better place to live in.

Over protective of your possessions, being self-centered. Thinking you know everything is not only tiring it is also at times pointless, because no one knows what the future holds. Especially when a situation comes when all you have prepared to do is wasted because everything did not worked out right based on your expectations. Even in times when you feel like a failure all you can do is to go back to peace.

All the stuff we have or wanting to have needs at least maintenance. If you want something or someone there is somewhat of caring that needs it. Count how many activities we do every single day that pertains to maintenance of our self. Plus all the upkeep that we need to do to all of the other things we want apart from our self.  The more we maintain things all at the same time the less likely we are going to be in the presence of peace. Ironically we think that the only time we can have peace is when we have a lot of stuff. Contradicting isn't it?  I have never had many things in my life, but I am guessing that the more you have the more you will worry about a lot of things sooner or later.

Even when you have little or nothing, being at peace is all you can ever want for yourself. It's the only agreement you can get in your situation otherwise you will be miserable. Peace is the only thing we would want to bring with us on our expiration. The phrase "rest in peace" is not only for our fellow human beings who have passed away it is also for us who are living. We should all be practicing it while we are here. We are all mentally and spiritually struggling almost all the time everyday.

Peace of heart and mind is the most rewarding goal that is invisible to our naked eyes. It is I think the highest goal we should be aiming for. With deep sincerity. If stress jump starts almost all kinds of illness, imagine what peace can do to our body and perspective in our life.
